The Wilson Station Reconstruction Project is underway, with a station renovation, new transfer between the purple and red lines and accessibility features part of the final plan. According to a recent article in the Columbia Chronicle, one negative side effect is that some of the area businesses are losing revenue due to the construction zone. Ridership is expected to increase once the project is complete, which may bring more customers to the area in the future.
