There are several to choose from, many of which are also near CTA stations if you’re planning on riding trains to visit area attractions or get to and from the airport. Renaissance Chicago Downtown
A two-minute walk from the Lake and State/Lake CTA stations, this hotel is near the Chicago River, Millennium Park and theaters.
JW Marriott Chicago
In a more government and financial area of the city, the JW Marriott is a short walk from the Quincy CTA Station and near Willis Tower and Union Station. Quincy is not handicap-accessible, so you’ll need to carry your luggage up and down stairs or use Jackson Blue (from O’Hare) or Harold Washington Library (from Midway).
Residence Inn Chicago Downtown
The Residence Inn in the Loop is near the Washington, Washington/Wells and Monroe Blue CTA stations. The hotel’s suites have kitchens and free WiFi and is near government buildings and offices.
Just outside the Loop and overlooking Grant Park, the Renaissance Blackstone hotel (lobby pictured above) is near the Harrison CTA Station on the red line. Several music clubs and the Museum of Contemporary Photography are also a short walk away.
River North/Magnificent Mile
Fairfield Inn & Suites River North
Also near the Grand Red Station, the Fairfield Inn & Suites River North has free WiFi and breakfast. Restaurants, bars and a grocery store are next to the hotel.
Chicago Marriott Magnificent Mile
On Michigan Avenue, this Marriott hotel is a five-minute walk away from the Grand Red Station and has a fitness center with complimentary classes.
AC Hotel Chicago Downtown
The boutique AC Hotel is next to Trader Joe’s, a movie theater and retail stores. Plus there’s free WiFi. Like the other hotels, Grand Red is the nearby train station.
SpringHill Suites River North
The last, but least, Marriott hotel near the Grand Red station, SpringHill Suites is further away from Magnificient Mile, but is only two blocks from the riverfront and is near many restaurants and the House of Blues.
Chicago Marriott O’Hare
Two stops away from the airport, the Chicago Marriott O’Hare hotel is next to the Cumberland CTA Station and one of Chicago’s Greyhound bus stops. There’s also a free shuttle to the airport.
Renaissance Chicago O’Hare
Also near the Cumberland Station, this hotel also has a free shuttle to the airport in addition to an indoor pool.
Marriott Marquis at McCormick Place
Next to McCormick Place and near the Cermack-McCormick Place CTA Station on the green line, the Marriott Marquis is also near the new Wintrust Arena, Lakeshore Trail and the Historic Prairie District. The McCormick Metra Station is also next door, which goes to downtown Chicago, including a stop at Millennium Park and Museum Campus where you can visit the Shedd Aquarium, The Field Museum and Adler Planetarium.
Chicago Marriott at Medical District
Closest to the Polk CTA Station on the pink line, this Marriott hotel is great for those doing businesses in the area or visiting the University of Illinois at Chicago.
