Loyola University is a private Catholic university with two campuses in Chicago: Lake Shore and Water Tower, both convenient to CTA train stations. Some of the distinguished programs include business, medicine, nursing and health sciences.

Lake Shore Campus Directions

Loyola’s Lake Shore campus is next to the Loyola CTA Station on the red line. Most of the school’s buildings are at this location as well as the Joseph J. Gentile Center (view map).

Water Tower Campus Directions

The Water Tower campus is near the Chicago (Red) CTA Station and the Magnificent Mile. Walking time is approximately five minutes. Head east on Chicago Avenue after exiting the station (toward McDonald’s), turn left on N. Wabash and right on E. Pearson Street. Plan your trip with Google Maps for specific rail and walking directions from your starting location.

Rail Transfers

Use the State/Lake CTA Station in the Loop for a free transfer to the red line via the nearby Lake Station. Most lines connect with State/Lake, although the station is not handicap accessible. For blue line transfer to red, use Jackson or Monroe. The Belmont Station is also a convenient place to transfer from brown or purple to red.
