The O’Hare International Airport is northwest of downtown Chicago and is directly connected to the O’Hare Station at the end of the CTA blue line. Trains arrive on the lower level concourse at Terminals 1, 2 and 3.

Things to Know

  • The blue line travels to and from the Loop in approximately 45 minutes (flat fee of $5 if departing from the airport) and trains operate 24 hours a day on this line.
  • If you are traveling to the airport and need to transfer to the blue line, all lines except the red connect with the blue line at the Clark/Lake Station.
  • Transfer between the red and blue lines at the Jackson Station, which is handicap-accessible.
  • The North Central Service Metra train also stops near O’Hare, but requires a shuttle bus ride
