CTA Directions

Take a red line train to the Chicago (Red) Station. Exit the station and walk east on Chicago Avenue toward McDonald’s.

If you need to transfer to the red line, major transfer points include State/Lake Station to Lake (stairs), Monroe (between blue and red), Belmont (purple and brown to red) and Roosevelt (orange and green to red). Use Google Maps with the transit icon to get specific CTA directions from your starting location.


Divvy Bikes can be docked in front of the museum on Mies Van Der Rohe Way. Tip: The Lakefront Trail is about two blocks away if you are on the trail. There’s an underground connection from the trail to Chicago Avenue.
