Wicker Park is a Chicago neighborhood and public park northwest of downtown. The creative neighborhood is filled with art galleries, boutique shops and restaurants. The park of the same name has a field house, sports fields, playground, gardens and special events. See below for transit commute options.

CTA Directions

The Damen (Blue) CTA Station is near the center of the Wicker Park neighborhood and the park. If you need to transfer to the blue line, all lines except red connect with the Clark/Lake CTA Station. Use the State/Lake station as a transfer point if you’re on the red line.

Be sure to board a blue line train marked O’Hare to reach Damen if you’re transfering in the Loop. Commute time from downtown Chicago is approximately 11 minutes.

On the edge of the neighborhood is the Division CTA Station, also on the blue line. Use this exit for restaurants on W. Division Street or for shopping along N. Milwaukee Avenue.

Divvy Bikes are near both CTA stations and throughout the neighborhood.

You can walk between the two CTA stations in about 15 minutes using N. Milwaukee Avenue. You’ll find most of the area stores on this street.
