The CTA green line travels directly west and directly south from the Chicago Loop. The end-of-the-line stations are Harlem (west side) in addition to Cottage Grove and Ashland (south side).


The green line operates from approximately 4 a.m. to 1 a.m. on weekdays and from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m. on weekends. Frequency is every 7 to 8 minutes during peak weekday travel times and up to every 24 minutes on the weekend. Note that the green line splits into two different end of the line destinations (Cottage Grove and Ashland), and those lines have variable frequency.


Parking is available at the following green line station: Ashland and Garfield.


The following green line stations ARE NOT handicap accessible: Oak Park, Ridgeland, Austin, State/Lake, Randolph/Wabash and Adams/Wabash.
