The CTA orange line connects with Midway International Airport and provides service to downtown Chicago in about 25 minutes via the southwest side of Chicago. Explore schedules and popular destinations below.
Orange line hours are approximately 4 a.m. to 1:25 a.m. Frequency is every 6 to 20 minutes with trains most frequent during weekday rush hour and least frequent late at night and on Sundays.

Trains first depart Midway Airport at 4 a.m. on weekdays and 4:30 a.m. on weekends and holidays. Last train departs the airport around 1 a.m.
From the Loop
Trains first depart the Loop at 4:20 a.m. on weekdays and 4:50 a.m. on weekends and holidays. The last train departs the Loop at 1:25 a.m.
Parking is available at the following orange-line stations: Midway, Pulaski, Kedzie, Western, 35th/Archer and Halsted.
The following orange-line stations are NOT handicap accessible: LaSalle/Van Buren, Quincy, State/Lake, Randolph/Wabash and Adams/Wabash.

Things to Know
- The orange line travels clockwise around the Loop and only the Clark/Lake and Harold Washington Library Stations are handicap-accessible
- The Roosevelt CTA Station is the easiest place to transfer to the red line if you are arriving at Midway Airport
- Clark/Lake is the a major transfer point to all other lines, including blue.
